Once you complete the online form (click above), bring your documentation to the Library and complete the process.

Library cards are issued to adults (17 and over) and children (5-16), both residents of Burnet County and non-residents. Children under the age of 17 must be attached to a Parent/Legal Guardian’s account.

TO GET A LIBRARY CARD YOU NEED:

  • Current Photo ID:
    Driver’s License
    State or Military ID
    Resident Visa
    Passport
    or other, with Library Director’s approval

  • Proof of Current Mailing Address:
    Personal check
    Current bill
    Lease/rental agreement
    Insurance card
    or other official verifiable address approved by staff
